Welcome to the Women's Ministry at Spring Valley Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina! Below is a special message from this year's Women's Ministry Coordinator, Kim Taylor.
Dear Spring Valley Women,
As we continue through the church year, I hope you will take advantage of all that is happening within the Women’s Ministry of our church in the coming months. No other individual ministry in the local church spans as many seasons of life and lifestyle choices as women’s ministry. As a woman at Spring Valley, you are already a part of the ministry—either as a minister to others in some capacity or as a receiver of the gifts of others as they minister to you. The Women’s Ministry is not something you do or something you join—it is who we are and what we do as women who love Jesus and love others in the church. It is my hope that you will realize that these happenings and ministry opportunities are for YOU and that they are YOUR ministries to use in YOUR circles of influence (friends, co-workers, neighbors, teachers, family, etc.) to invite others and encourage their involvement in church, in a relationship with Jesus and in their relationships with other women.
As you are finding your place of involvement, whether through prayer groups, Bible studies, service ministries, speaking programs, ladies nights out, exercise, crafts or music, or any combination of the above, please feel free to contact me if I can answer any questions about Women’s Ministry at Spring Valley.
